After managing a nail salon for 5 years I've decided to give something back to help the nail technician community and the Nail Directory is the result of many months research and work.

I hope, like the many visitors here, you'll find the Nail Directory a valuable resource. It's a fab place to list your nail technician or nail salon business and get noticed fast.

For many years I relied on getting new clients and business for my nail salon through word of mouth, leaflets and expensive telephone directory adverts such as the Yellow Pages. Times have changed and these expensive and dated methods of advertising no longer bring in the customers you need to run a succesful mobile nails or nail salon business.

When was the last time you looked in the Yellow Pages? People now search for nail services on the internet.

Less than a year ago my business was like many nail salons. Business was slowing down due to the credit crunch and I was looking for a cost effective place to advertise my services.

Like you, I will always welcome more clients and in order to boost my business I decided to search the internet and came across a few sites listing nail salons so I decided to submit my business. Sure enough, after a week or two the phone started ringing and enquiries trickled through to my email inbox. The problem was the enquiries where from all corners of the UK.

A customer looking for a nail salon in Manchester doesn't want to travel anywhere else and similarly a nail salon in Manchester doesn't want the phone ringing all day with customers from London.

It was from here I decided what nail techs and nails salons needed was a localised directory for their services. What you see here is the result of months of work and research. I have completely hand built this nail directory to support the nail industry and to help make finding clients easier for you. It may be a little rough round the edges but please stick with me. I am improving it all the time. I'm a nail tech at heart not a PC wizzkid!
